KOH SEE LONG FOOD PTE LTD (KSLFOOD) has been in this frozen food business for decades. We import and sell imported goods that are inspected & approved for sales by Singapore Food Authority (SFA) . All our processed / cut products are only done in Singapore SFA licenced factory to ensure the high quality and hygiene standard to meets our clients' high standard/requirement.

We will always recommend goods to our clients based on clients' requirement such as quality / product yield / price, in order for them to stay competitive and profitable in this tough market.

Traceability & Accurancy Assurance (CatchWeight QuickScan Cloud Solution)

The biggest challenge for food industry is delivering correct product / getting all nett weight correct everytime, which is highly dependent on staffs' skill and attentiveness. This scope is very manual & labour intensive work/process and it is the main bottleneck for all staffs' productivity. On top of that, keeping a trace of movement of goods (required by SFA for tracebility in case of any recalled of goods) to individual ctn/product further increases the difficulty as manual method is impossible for any limited SME workforce to handle.

KOH SEE LONG FOOD PTE LTD has started a project in 2017/2018 with a software vendor to resolve all manual catchweight taking / traceability scope and reduce the reliance and the workload of our staffs with the use of technology.

With the use of "Catchweight Quickscan Cloud Solution" since 2018, it has significantly reduced/eliminated previous avoidable human errors, increases all staffs productivity. Importantly, "QuickScan" allows KSLFOOD to trace all movement of goods down to individual carton level. This allows KSLFOOD to keep a leaner workforce while still provides all clients with the traceability and accurancy so that all our clients have less worries/doubts on the goods purchased from us.

There is no need to regenerate inhouse barcode for individual carton which already has product barcode, no RFID tag. It significantly reduces staffs's effort to manual entry of weight/expirydate etc.

Simply "Scan" overseas product barcode and "Print" the tally weight/report.
